How did Xend start?

Xend was founded in 2004 as Xend Business Center by Bjorn Pardo as a Single Proprietorship with it's first headquarters in Makati City. Xend initially provided international logistics and courier services to the small eCommerce community.

In 2006, Xend started to offer domestic courier services. Later the same year, Xend developed a tracking system giving its clients the ability of door to door tracking.

In 2007, Xend incorporated itself to form Xend Business Solutions Inc. Later that same year, Xend moved its headquarters to Mandaluyong City.

What are the services of Xend?

Xend offers express door to door delivery services to anywhere in the world. We pickup any item in Metro Manila and Rizal and deliver express next day for Metro Manila and 1 to 3 business days for provincial shipments via LBC or 2Go. There is an express tracker on the website for you to track the status of the delivery.

If the item fits in one of our UNLIPAK pouches, you do not need to measure or weigh the package. Shipping rates below will apply.

The International Express option is coursed through UPS or DHL. It is a date certain service that takes 1 to 3 days to more than 160 countries and territories worldwide.

The Express Postal Mail Service (EMS) option is coursed through the Singapore Post Postal system or Philpost. The average transit time is 3 to 7 business days.

The Postal or Premium Registered Mail option is an accelerated airmail service that is coursed through the Singapore Post Postal system or Philpost. It provides customers with a reliable and economical means in sending items to every country in the world. Unlike regular registered mail, this service offers detailed online tracking from pick-up to delivery in 88 countries so you know where your package is every step of the way. You get all of this benefit, at rates competitive with regular registered mail.

How do I avail of the shipping services of Xend or open an account?

To avail of the shipping services of Xend, you need to open an account. You can open an account in less than a minute. Simply visit our website at www.xend.com.ph and click on the "Sign Up for a Free myXend Account" button.

Once you have an account with Xend, you can now book a pickup online and you also have the option to create and even print an electronic waybill online.

What are the shipping rates, courier rates, delivery rates, cargo rates, shipping rates for door to door delivery or shipments?

What does UNLI Weight mean?

UNLI Weight means that no matter how heavy your package is, we will only charge you by the size of the pouch.

What are the sizes of your pouch?

We have 2 sizes of plastic pouches.

  • UNLIPAK Large: 9 x 14 inches
  • UNLIPAK XL: 12 x 18 inches
This is my first time to use Xend, where do I get the UNLIPAK pouches and manual waybills?

Just open an account with Xend. Simply visit our website at www.xend.com.ph and click on the "Sign Up for a Free myXend Account" button.

Once you have an account with Xend, you can now book a pickup online. Ask for supplies when our friendly couriers drop by your place to pickup your shipments.

We give free manual waybills and 2 sizes of plastic pouches: UNLIPAK Large: 9 x 14 inches and UNLIPAK XL: 12 x 18 inches.

What if my item does not fit your pouch?

If your item does not fit our pouch, you can use your own packaging.

It has to be measured and weighed to get the chargeable weight. Our couriers bring their own weighing scales and measuring tape so your packages can be weighed and measured to get chargeable weight upon pickup.

Volumetric Weight is measured when your shipment does not fit in one of our pouches. To determine the shipping fee, we will use the weight that is higher, volumetric weight or actual weight in kilograms.

Computation for Metro Manila and Provincial shipments:

What is the chargeable weight?

If your item does not fit in any of our UNLIPAK pouches, then we need to determine the chargeable weight. Chargeable weight is the weight that is used to determine the amount to be charged. To get the chargeable weight, we compare the actual weight and volumetric weight and use the higher of the two. If you use your own packaging, we will compute for the volumetric weight and compare against the actual weight.

If the item fits in one of our UNLIPAK pouches, you do not need to measure or weigh the package. Shipping rates below will apply.

What is volumetric weight?

Volumetric Weight is measured when your shipment does not fit in one of our Xend UNLIPAK pouches. To determine the shipping fee, we will use the weight that is higher, volumetric weight or actual weight in kilograms.

Computation for Metro Manila and Provincial shipments:

(Length x Width x Height in cm.) / 3500

  • Example:
    • (10 cm x 20 cm x 15 cm) / 3500
    • (3000) / 3500
    • 0.86 kg

Computation for volumetric weight for INTERNATIONAL shipments:

What if I do not know the weight of my package?

What is the purpose of stating a declared value?

In the rare case that your shipment is lost in transit, this is the amount that will be refunded to your buyer so your buyer can buy from you again. If you print an electronic waybill, you get free insurance for loss up to ₱ 2,000.00 of the declared value and ₱ 500.00 for the manual waybill. For items above the free insurance, just pay 1% so your item will be fully insured.

Do you offer free insurance?

Yes we offer free insurance up to the declared value of the item if you ship through us. Please see the details below:

Metro Manila & Provincial

The first ₱ 2,000.00 is free of charge if you print an electronic waybill and ₱ 500.00 for manual waybill. To insure above the free insurance, just pay an additional 1% for the declared value above the free insurance covered.

International Express via UPS/DHL

The first US$100 is free of charge, add-on US$0.40 per additional US$100.00.

International EMS via SingPost/PhilPost

₱ 1,000.00 valuation charge for a maximum of ₱ 5,000.00

No insurance available

Is there any fee or charge for pickup for the door to door delivery services?

No, pickup is free of charge anywhere within Metro Manila and Rizal (San Mateo, Rodriguez, Cainta, Taytay and Antipolo).

How will payment be made for my door to door shipment or delivery?

Payment must be made upon pickup.

Waybill or Shipping Documents

How do I create a waybill?

To create an electronic online waybill, you need to open an account. You can open an account with Xend at www.xend.com.ph and click on the "Sign Up for a Free myXend Account" button.

Once you have an account with Xend, you can now book a pickup online and you also have the option to create and print an electronic waybill online.

You also have the option to use manual handwritten waybills. Just book a pickup online and ask from one of our friendly couriers for supplies for manual waybills.

If you print an electronic waybill, you get free insurance for loss up to ₱ 2,000 of the declared value. If you use a manual waybill, there will be a ₱ 1 charge for the manual waybill and insurance for loss is only up to ₱ 500 of the declared value. To insure above the free insurance, just pay an additional 1% for the declared value above the free insurance covered.

If I create and print a waybill online, am I automatically scheduled for a pickup?

No, you still must schedule a pickup online as Xend does not know if you have packed your items and your package is ready for pickup.

Am I required to create and print my waybill online?

No, this is optional. If you prefer manual handwritten waybills, just ask from one of our friendly couriers.

If you print an electronic waybill, you get free insurance for loss up to ₱ 2,000 of the declared value. If you use a manual waybill, there will be a ₱ 1 charge for the manual waybill and insurance for loss is only up to ₱ 500 of the declared value. What if I have multiple shipments?

To make your life easier, you can use the Bulk Waybill Creation facility in Xend. What you can do is download an excel template, fill up the excel template and upload the excel template to Xend and then create and print multiply waybills immediately.

How do I schedule a pick up?

What is the best way to schedule a pickup?

The most convenient way to schedule a pickup is online through myXend as it is faster and you are given a booking reference number (#) in real time. Over 95% of all Xend clients book online.

What days do you do door to door pickup and delivery?

We pickup, ship and deliver packages from Mondays to Saturdays. We are closed on Holidays and Sundays.

Until what time do you pickup and deliver packages?

We do our best to pick up and deliver as early as possible but our couriers do pickups and deliveries until 9 PM.

Can I request for a specific pickup time?

If you specify a time frame for pick up, we cannot guarantee that it will be picked up within that time frame you indicated. We will do our best to meet the time frame but if we cannot, we will definitely arrive within the day.

How many packages do you require per pick up?

There is no minimum number of packages required per pick up.

What is your cut-off time for scheduling a pickup?

The most convenient way to schedule a pickup is online through myXend as it is faster and you are given a booking reference number (#) in real time. Over 95% of all Xend clients book online.

For Monday to Saturday, if you book online before 2pm of the same day using myXend, it will be picked up the same day. If it is booked after 2 pm, it will be picked up the next business day.

All bookings made through phone, email or chat must be made the day before.

Tip: You can pre-book pickups up to one week in advance.

Where are your branches?

Xend specializes in FREE pick-up with Metro Manila and key cities in Rizal (San Mateo, Rodriguez, Cainta, Taytay and Antipolo). We do not operate branches for drop off. But, if you would like to drop off your packages, you can drop by our Mandaluyong hub.

What are the Prohibited items for shipping?

Cash, Perishables, Explosives, Narcotics and Live Animals.

How do I know that my pickup is confirmed?

Whether you schedule a pickup online or through phone, email or chat, you will be given a booking reference number (#). Once you have this, your pickup is confirmed.

Do you pickup outside Metro Manila?

At this time we only pickup within Metro Manila and key cities in Rizal (San Mateo, Rodriguez, Cainta, Taytay and Antipolo) free of charge.

We course our provincial shipments nationwide through LBC or 2GO.

What is your transit time for provincial deliveries?

We course our provincial deliveries nationwide through LBC and 2GO and the transit time is 1 to 3 business days (excluding Holidays and Sundays) provided that the address is complete and the receiver is available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. If the address is incomplete or the receiver is unavailable to receive the package, this will delay the delivery.

How do I track my shipment?

Just go to www.xend.com.ph and your tracking number into the express tracker field.

What is myXend?

myXend is a FREE online shipping management system of Xend where you can book a pick up online, print your own waybills, auto-email your buyers their tracking number and much more. This is the best way to experience Xend.

If you’re a first time user and do not have an account with Xend yet, you can open a FREE myXend account in less than a minute. Simply visit our website at www.xend.com.ph and click on the "Sign Up for a Free myXend Account" button.

Once you have an account with myXend, you can enjoy all the benefits which includes booking a pickup, create and print multiple waybills and even email your buyers their tracking number online.

How do I activate my myXend account?

There is no need to activate your account. Once you complete the registration, you can immediately sign in and enjoy all the benefits of myXend.

What is the myXend Trust Badge?

The myXend trust Badge is beneficial for all online sellers as it boosts your credibility as an eCommerce seller. One problem with eCommerce is that transactions are made real-time (sales and payments) before the fulfillment (shipments). With the myXend Trust Badge, buyers will have more confidence buying online as they can view how many successful deliveries you, as a seller, has made.

How can I get a myXend Trust Badge?

The myXend Trust Badge is built into your myXend account. You do not have to do anything to get it. Just copy the code from your account and post it anywhere! Just copy the myXend Trust Badge HTML code provided in the myXend Trust Badge section of your myXend account and paste it into your website.

For Multiply sellers:

How do I post my myXend Trust Badge in my online store?

Just copy the myXend Trust Badge HTML code provided in the myXend Trust Badge section of your myXend account and paste it into your website.

For Multiply sellers:

Sign-in to your account and click 'Customize My Site' link.. Click Edit and paste the myXend Trust Badge HTML code into the text box.

For eBay sellers:

Why is my myXend badge not updated?

For your badge count to be updated, your shipment must be marked as "Picked Up" on our website. Once it is marked as "Picked Up", your badge count will automatically increase. Print an online electronic waybill to ensure that you myXend badge is updated real time when it is “Picked Up”. For discrepancies, please email info@xend.com.ph.

Why does my myXend badge count not increase even if I schedule a pickup online all the time?

Your badge count increases when one of your shipments is picked up, not when you schedule a pickup online. The count represents how many shipments you have shipped and not the number of pickups booked.
